When the wifi drops
The signal drops. The queue never notices.
Most tills are a window onto a server somewhere, and when the connection goes, so does the till. Tender does the work on the tablet in your hand, so a dead router, one bar of 4G in a field, or a cellar with none at all is just a normal shift.

Every sale is saved on the tablet first
Before anything is sent anywhere. Even if the tablet dies mid-order, the order is waiting when it comes back on.

Nothing gets counted twice
On a patchy line a till can't tell whether a sale got through. Tender makes sure each one is recorded exactly once, however many times it has to try.

It catches up by itself
When the signal returns, sales go up and menu changes come down. No button to press, nothing to re-key at closing time.

Keep your card machine
Take cards on the machine you already have and Tender records how every sale was paid, so the takings add up.
Eat in, take away
Mark each sale as eat in, takeaway or delivery. Prices can include VAT or add it on, and mixed rates in one basket just work.

What it costs
The software is free.
The till app and the back office cost nothing: no monthly fee, no contract, and nothing to pay when you leave. The one ongoing cost is card payments: when Tender takes cards itself, it'll be a percentage of each card payment, and the rate will be on this page before you're ever asked to switch. Until then, keep the card machine you've got.
Bring your own Android tablet. We'll sell ready-to-go hardware too, for anyone who'd rather not source their own — but if you've got a tablet, you're set.

No minimum term, no auto-renewal, no fee to cancel. If Tender stops earning its place on your counter, you stop using it. That's the whole process.
We never stop a sale.

Every amount is kept in whole pence, never a rounded approximation, so the VAT, the total and what the customer paid always agree.
